This is for a retro-summer look, and I'll be using photoshop CS3 :]

1. fix any skin complexion flaws by using the "healing brush tool"

2. add on your own eye-make-up colour by using the "brush tool" > mode: "soft light" > opacity: 54%

3. use the "burn tool" if you want to make the eyeliner darker

4. go to: filter > "liquify" and fix up anything you think needs fixing (ie. make the chin, nose smaller, volumize hair etc)

5. go to: layer > new adjustment layer > curves > click anywhere on the grid and fill this in:

(to make a new point, just click anywhere on the grid again)

point 1: 29, 33
point 2: 111, 115
point 3: 214, 225

6. go to: layer > new adjustment layer > selective colour > check "relative" and fill this in:

reds: -40, +10, +10, +10
yellows: +20, -10, +10, -15
whites: +5, -10, +10, -10

7. go to: layer > new fill layer > solid colour > click "exclusion" from drop down list and set at 25 % > fill in colour #006bb6

8. go to: layer > new fill layer > solid colour > click "darken" from drop down list and set at 20% > fill in colour #edd3a1

9. go to: layer > merge visible

10. duplicate the current background layer and set it to "screen" at 30%

11. duplicate the background layer again and drag it to the top

12. go to: image > adjustments > desaturate and set it to "soft light" at 100%

13. duplicate the background layer again, drag it to the top and set it to "overlay" at 40%

14. go to: layer > new adjustment layer > click "hue/saturation" and fill this in:

hue: +5
saturation: +10
lightness: 0

15. go to: layer > merge visible

Voila! Your done! ^^
